Designed for a private residence in Limuru, this kitchen reflects the tranquil, earthy character of the Tigoni landscape. The brief was to create a refined yet understated space that balances contemporary aesthetics with natural warmth. A palette of matte green cabinetry, rich dark oak-finish laminates, and premium quartz surfaces delivers a timeless design that feels both inviting and sophisticated.

The completed kitchen successfully blends modern minimalism with the warmth of natural materials, creating a space that is elegant, highly functional, and tailored to everyday living. Thoughtful detailing, premium finishes, and integrated lighting enhance both usability and ambience, while the textured bar stools and bold quartz island elevate the overall aesthetic. The result is a sophisticated kitchen that complements its Limuru setting while providing a timeless environment for cooking, entertaining, and family life.

Approach

The design focused on clean lines and seamless functionality through a handleless cabinetry system using J-gola and C-gola profiles. Carefully planned storage incorporates smooth-glide tandem drawers for effortless organization, while dark-framed aluminium glass display cabinets with integrated vertical LED lighting add depth and visual interest. The spacious island, finished with a striking white-and-gold veined quartz waterfall countertop, serves as both the functional heart of the kitchen and a sculptural focal point.
